Holiday is a song written by Barry and Robin Gibb and recorded by the Bee Gees for their 1967 album Bee Gees 1st. Released as a single in some countries, it peaked at #2 in the Netherlands as well as reaching the US #16. The single was not released in the UK which instead had the previously unreleased World.
As time went by the song became an integral part of the band's live acoustic medleys. Live recordings can be heard on Here at Last, Bee Gees Live and the 1989 One For All concert video. In the latter, Barry and Robin are seen performing the song together at the front of the stage while Maurice Gibb, with a mischievous grin, borrows a camera from a cameraman and proceeds to film them as they perform.
The song's music video, consisted of footage of the band enjoying traveling a city bus in Paris. Their footage visiting Paris is also used as the music video for "Words". Another promotional film, filmed in black and white, featured the group performing the song.
