Lamplight is a song written by Barry, Robin & Maurice Gibb and recorded by the Bee Gees for their 1969 album Odessa.
Robin Gibb, who sang the lead vocal, had hoped for the song to be released as the A-side of the album's accompanying single but the group's manager Robert Stigwood opted for First of May, a Barry solo vocal with orchestral backing. This led to Robin leaving the group for a while although he would rejoin in 1970.
